Primer libro: El Principito.

*************

First book of teh project: El Principito.

*************

I have always read. reading has been one of my most perdurables hobbies along life. I read a lot while I was a teenager, specially  adventure stories. I grew up reading The adventures of Allan Quatermain, The last Mohican, The famous five, Two year´s vacation, From earth to the moon, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Little Prince, Mafalda… all pieces I used to create my own imaginary world and my own universe.

*************

This one is one of those tricky projects of M52. I actually read everyday. I read online news papers (national and international ones), a lot of specialized blogs, pop culture compilations… I read… A LOT… but mostly is about articles… things i would like to call «fast food reading», and have lost the habit of read long stories, the habit to travel far away thru the pages of a book.

M+8_Libros_008

So, trying to fight against that little and evil concept of fast food (meaning fast reading) immediate information and short stories, lets call it online news, facebook, twitter, blogs, and the rest of the family… I have decided to read a book each week. TAAADAAA!

Anyhow, since I have a small delay on my blog writing, this has open a window to the future and has make me realize this project is even more tricky than I though. By now I should have read 8 books, but have only been capable to read 4!

But… I must say that even when I have been able only to read 4 books, my plan is working! I´m reading each single day at least during 20 minutes, I have all ready learn new words and new gramatical structures, and also my imagination is getting trained, read i like seeing a movie again!

M+8_Libros_001So, lets get to the fun part: creating my «read it! list». I all ready have choose a few book, a lot of literature, some of marketing, production and scriptwriting (for improve my lessons), some poetry, and I can´t wait to ask for suggestions!
