Marta y yo nos conocemos desde el colegio, tuvimos la inmensa fortuna de pasar juntas buena parte de nuestra niñez, la adolescencia e incluso nuestros primeros años como adultas (?) responsables (?).
Marta ya no es una amiga del colegio. Marta es familia. Y Manuel también!

Los Novios: Marta y Manuel
Amigos: Vero y Antonio, Cristina y Miguel.
Lugar: Afueras de Warwick, Eng.
Fecha: 10 Julio de 2014.
Lo mejor del día: Ayudar a Marta junto con Cristi, con todos los preparativos del día. Maquillaje, peinado, vestido… Marta estaba bellísima.
Cómo fue el día: Fue un día soleado, cálido y feliz. Tuvo momentos de risa descontrolada, como cuando dejamos los anillos olvidados en el hotel y tuvimos que regresar a buscarlos, con los cervatillos en la iglesia (Cristina y yo evitábamos el contacto visual con Marta), el photocall…
Outfit: Un vestido color coral que tuvimos que perseguir por cielo y tierra, porque aparentemente el color de ese verano era el turquesa y no el coral. Finalmente apareció y no nos quedaba mal. Lo importante: Marta estaba feliz.
Nuestro regalo: Queríamos regalarle a Marta y Manuel algo especial. Algo que pudieran conservar como un recuerdo único e irrepetible. Así que reunimos un arsenal de cartuchos de cámara polaroid y los repartimos por la boda. Creo que hicimos casi 100 fotos. Ahora tenemos que volver por London Town a hacer el álbum! ¿será este verano?… hmmm…
Lo más emocionante: El baile de los novios. Me emocioné… Hice que Vero llorase… Shame of me.
El lugar: Una casa preciosa de la campiña inglesa. Había una piscina natural, ovejas, y unas balas de paja donde oportunamente me eché una siestecita.
La fotógrafa: Charli. Una chica genial, que se dedico a cazar los momentos más espontáneos, felices y dulces de la fiesta. Todas las imágenes que ilustran este post son obra suya, y después de ver su trabajo no puedo dejar de recomendarla. Pueden visitar su fan page para más información.

Marta and I, know eachother since school. And we have been incredibly lucky to share most of our childhood, our teenage years, and even a our first years as responsable(?) adults (?)… Marta is not an old friend from School. Marta is family. And Manuel… well, he also is!

M+22 de 52: Made of Honor
Bride and Groom: Marta y Manuel
Friends: Vero y Antonio, Cristina y Miguel.
Place: Warwick, Eng.
Date: 10 Julio de 2014.
The best part of the day: Helping Marta with the makeup, the dress, the hairdo… I remember clearly how very beutiful she was.
How the day was: An amazing bright, warm and sunny day. We had crazy laugh moments, like when we forgot the rings in the Bed&Breakfast and have to turn back to pick them, or in the church with the fawn preaching (Cristina and I avoided visual contact with Marta), and the photocall was a great moment as well.
Outfit: Well… Coral is not my color, and last year summer´s color was turquoise, so finding the dress was a living hell. But in the very last moment we found one that wasn´t that bad… And Marta actually loved it. So well… we found the dress!
Our gift: We wanted to give M&M a special gift. Something unique that they can have and enjoy forever, so… We decided to buy lots of polaroids cartridges, and spread them around the wedding. We shot almost 100 pics. Now… is it time to visit and put them all together in a fancy handmade album? ¿maybe this summer?
The chessy moment: When the groom and bride did their first dance. Well… I got chessy… and I did Vero cry… Shame of me.
The place: A wonderful summer house in the English countryside. I loved the light and the views. The house has a beautiful natural pool, and the whole place is surounded by large green fields and lambs. I even found a good place to take a nap (an absolutely necesary nap…)
The photographer: Charli. She is not just a photographer, she is a visual storyteller who walks around the magic moments of the day and captures its with her camera. I just loved her work and sensibility. For further information please visit her fan page. Some extra thoughts during the party (HIMYM): The front porch test. I hope to share the front porch of my place with this wonderful, smart and badass people… when they get old, smelly and cranky.
